Sci-fi isn’t a genre I normally read, but I definitely enjoyed Project Hail Mary!
There were many things I liked about Project Hail Mary. From the characters, to the storyline, I loved it all.
I’ve heard a few people argue about pacing. I’ve also heard a lot of people say that the book is slow. Personally, I can agree with some of it. I don’t think I’d say that it was slow, but I would say that some of the points in this book were a tad bit exaggerated (if you get what I’m saying).
One of my favorite quotes is, “Also, until I hear otherwise, his name is Rocky.” (Project Hail Mary, page 173)
In the end, it was a full bloom book for me! I recommend Project Hail Mary for anyone that wants to get into sci-fi, or anyone that likes the genre in general. I think I would rate the book 13+.
